Important Update for Immigrant Visa Applicants in Türkiye
New Update (May 22, 2025): Important Announcement for All Immigrant Visa Applicants
Effective June 1, 2025
As of June 1, 2025, all immigrant visa applicants must attend their interviews with the originals of all required documentation that has been requested and uploaded to their CEAC accounts.
Please Note:
- Principal applicants, derivative spouses and children who arrive with any missing documents, including their passport, photos, medical reports, and proof of document delivery registration, will be turned away and not allowed to proceed with the interview.
- These applicants will need to reschedule their appointments later through our service provider’s website.
To ensure you have all the required documentation for your visa category, please follow the instructions provided in:
- The NVC Appointment Letter
- Messages sent to your CEAC mailbox by our immigrant visa unit
- Interview reminder emails sent by the immigrant visa unit two weeks prior to your interview date

Transition to New Visa Appointment Platform
Starting May 30, 2025, the U.S. Embassy in Türkiye will transition to a new visa appointment scheduling platform: ustraveldocs.com .
What You Need to Know:
Until May 29, 2025:
- Existing Appointments: No action needed; attend as scheduled.
- Paid Fees, No Appointment: Schedule by May 19 using the current system: ais.usvisa-info.com .
- New Visa Fee Payments: Must be completed by May 15 (cash) or May 18 (credit card).
- Mail-In Documents: Submit by May 23.
- May 19–29: Appointment system will be read-only. You will not be able to pay fees, schedule, reschedule, cancel, or request expedited appointments.

Starting May 30, 2025:
- New System Registration: Create a profile at ustraveldocs.com at least 2 days before your visa interview.
- Legacy Applicants: If you previously used ais.usvisa-info.com , follow the legacy applicant instructions on the new platform.
Important for Appointments on May 30 and Beyond:
All applicants—including those who already paid and scheduled—must register on the new platform.

Important Update for Nonimmigrant Visa Applicants in Türkiye
Transition to New Visa Appointment Platform
We are moving to a new visa appointment scheduling platform, ustraveldocs.com, starting May 30, 2025. This platform will provide improved access to:
- Visa application information
- Appointment scheduling and changes
- Fee payments
- Document delivery services
Key Dates to Remember:
May 14, 2025: Last day to pay fees via cash
May 17, 2025: Last day to pay fees via credit card
May 18–29, 2025: Read-only access — you cannot pay fees, modify appointments, or request expedite services
May 23, 2025: Last day to drop off documents at authorized locations
May 30, 2025: Launch of the new system
What You Need to Do:
If you already have an appointment:
Ensure that the barcode number on your DS-160 confirmation page matches the barcode number registered in the appointment system. If they do not match, update the barcode number at least two days before your scheduled appointment date. Attend your interview on the scheduled date and time.
Important: All applicants with scheduled appointments must verify their barcode numbers at https://ais.usvisa-info.com/ . If the barcode numbers do not match, make sure to update them by May 14, 2025, the final day for making updates.
If you’ve paid the fee but haven’t scheduled yet:
Schedule your appointment by May 18, 2025, at https://ais.usvisa-info.com
If you haven’t started the process yet:
Begin immediately. Fee payments will stop being accepted after May 14 (cash) and May 17 (credit card).
If you were instructed to send documents:
Submit your documents before May 24, 2025.
